Rivier University prohibits animals (including Emotional Support Animals) inside University buildings unless specifically authorized in accordance with applicable law or University policy. Therapy dogs whose visits have been organized by library staff are permitted.

All animals must remain under the control of their handler, and they may not engage in disruptive behavior. A service animal that is disruptive may be required to leave the library.
