International Student Experience

Welcome to Rivier! We can't wait to meet you and hope you will join our international student body. We look forward to supporting you through every aspect of your University experience.

Experience living in the United States and build your professional credentials with a highly regarded degree from Rivier University. Rivier offers international students a host of undergraduate and graduate degree programs, personalized advising, visa assistance, and a vibrant learning community.

Friendly, Welcoming Learning Community

International students from all over the world attend Rivier. As a Rivier student, you are part of a student community that supports one another.

The Rivier community is very active. Whether you’re looking for a group aligned with your major, want to find people who share your interests, or want to explore something new, you’re sure to make new friends, discover new cultures, and develop leadership skills. There are many clubs and activities to take part in, both specific to international students—such as the Indian and Chinese associations—and other areas such athletics and recreation, community service, and student leadership.

Personalized Advising

You will have a dedicated advisor who is available to help you understand the many parts of being an international student in the United States and at Rivier. Your advisor will help you with the enrollment and visa process, work with you on your major and academic program planning, and serve as a resource in answering personal, social, cultural, and immigration questions.

Though I came from a non-technical finance background, with Rivier's help I completed computer science courses with flying colors—an achievement I never thought possible.
