Rivier Institute for Senior Education (RISE)
Are you at least 55 years of age and have a love of learning? If so, we invite you to join our community of lifelong learners known as RISE.
Active Participation and Fellowship
The Rivier Institute for Senior Education incorporates active participation and fellowship to create a vibrant and collaborative learning environment for older adults on Rivier’s campus in Nashua. Since its inception in 1997, RISE has grown to more than 400 members who all share a common belief that curiosity never retires.
An affiliate of the Road Scholar Institute Network, RISE offers a diverse curriculum with courses in history, literature, writing, music, religion, current events, foreign languages, art, technology. physical fitness, and much more. There are no grades, no tests, and no credit. Our members thrive in an environment with no pressure and lots of encouragement, social interaction, and engagement.
Fall 2021 Semester
The Fall 2021 semester will take place from October 4 – November 12. All courses will be offered online using Zoom. Registration has closed. All registered members will receive a communication from their course facilitator prior to the semester start.
