When Rebeca Cruz, Class of 2019, first visited Rivier, she felt right at home. When she found out about Project Achieve nursing scholarships, she realized her dream of becoming a pediatric nurse was within reach. In her junior year, she was chosen for a prestigious undergraduate research fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. For her senior capstone, she was one of only two Rivier students placed at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she worked alongside some of the best doctors and nurses in the world.

From the comfort of his lab chair in sunny, southern California, Kevin Gill, Class of 2011G, has a view into outer space. He is putting his M.S. in Computer Science education to work as a Science Data Software Engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He plans and designs technology in support of environmental science and space exploration. His recent work not only produced the first-ever close views of Saturn but also contributed to NASA’s team winning an Emmy.
