  • Open Education Resources (OER) – learn about Open Access, OERs, and how to incorporate them into your courses, and discover freely available images, videos, textbooks, journals, and databases in a wide variety of disciplines

Services for Online Faculty

  • Library Resources for Online Courses – from tutorials to interlibrary loan requests, this guide highlights the many ways library staff support faculty teaching online courses
  • A University ID number is required in order to access library resources from off campus; if you do not have a Rivier ID card, please call the library and we will be happy to look it up for you

Liaison Services

  • Library Liaison – representatives for individual departments
  • Responsive assistance with materials selection and acquisitions
  • Notification upon arrival of purchase requests

Borrowing Services

  • Extended borrowing periods of 90 days for books and 14 days for videos and reserves
  • Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and document delivery – ILL supplements Regina Library’s print and online collection by borrowing items for our users from libraries across the country and around the world
  • Media Equipment booking – The Library provides a limited amount of media equipment for faculty, staff and student classroom presentations

Reference Services

  • Research Assistance – stop by, call, email, text or chat with a reference librarian.  One-on-one appointment scheduling is also available as librarians’ schedules permit.
