Articulation Agreements

We are here to help make your transition as a transfer student as seamless as possible. We have developed strong bonds with two-year colleges and have transfer agreements with institutions covering a wide range of academic programs.

Rivier accepts up to 90 credits toward a bachelor’s degree and up to 45 credits toward an associate degree. We will transfer your credits if you received at least a 2.0 average on a 4.0 scale and the course(s) is (are) deemed transferrable after an evaluation by the Rivier University staff.

Rivier University offers a pathway for high school students to earn college credits before graduating. The purpose of the articulation is to offer transfer credits for specific courses as outlined in the agreements listed below.

  • Rivier University and Bishop Guertin High School dual enrollment agreement for Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance.
  • Rivier University and Greater Lowell Technical High School articulation agreement for Bachelor of Arts degrees in Early Childhood Education, Education and Community Leadership, or Elementary Education. The articulation agreement also applies to Rivier’s Associate of Science degree in Nursing.
  • Rivier University and Nashoba Valley Technical High School articulation agreement for Bachelor of Arts degrees in Early Childhood Education, Education and Community Leadership, Elementary Education, or Special Education.
