The department’s faculty bring both a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to our classrooms, combining expertise in a variety of disciplines including English, law, history, political science, philosophy, sociology, and religion. Undergraduate Programs

Building on Rivier’s 90-year tradition of delivering a Catholic liberal arts education, the Environmental Studies and Sustainability major equips students with the skills to critically examine environmental challenges through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities.

Rivier’s Human Services program provides students with a broad background and knowledge to improve the health and welfare of individuals, families and communities. By developing individualized strengths and skills, students will be prepared to cultivate child, family, and community well-being during their college career and beyond.
