Address environmental challenges with a well-rounded education in natural sciences, social sciences, and the humanities.
Why Earn an Undergraduate Degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability at Rivier?
Building on Rivier’s 90-year tradition of delivering a Catholic liberal arts education, the Environmental Studies and Sustainability major equips students with the skills to critically examine environmental challenges through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities.
This broad-based program prepares students to address challenges related to human interactions with the environment, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage in environmental problem-solving, policy-making, and advocacy.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, “green jobs” are expected to grow at a rate faster than the national average through 2030.
