The Office of Multicultural Student Engagement leads co-curricular programs that link issues of diversity, multiculturalism, inclusion, social justice, intersectionality, and globalization to holistic student development.

Multicultural Student Welcome Reception

Held each fall, the Multicultural Student Welcome Reception is an opportunity for the entire Rivier campus community to get together and start the new year off on a positive note. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend and connect with others.

“Let’s Talk About …” Series

This monthly series provides you the opportunity to connect with others and discuss relevant topics like inclusion at Rivier, trending news stories (local, national and global), and more!

Heritage and Identity Months

MSE events celebrate and educate the Rivier community about various identities and communities. Events are timed to coincide with the national calendar.

C.O.R.E – Community Outreach and Resource Education Center

New Fellowship Baptist Church Clothes Closet

  • Thrift shop that offers gently used clothes, shoes, furniture, and other household items for purchase or free to those in need.

  • Opportunities: Unpack bags; sort, fold, and pick up donations
  • Days/Times: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; hours vary
