Service

Campus Ministry offers countless opportunities to put your faith in action, from service projects to international mission trips.

Catholic social teaching calls upon each of us as disciples to help the poor through prayer, compassionate service, and advocating justice for the oppressed.

You will find many opportunities to serve local, national and international communities through Campus Ministry.

Put Your Faith in Action

  • Participate in Alternative Spring Break. Campus Ministry works with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship to offer a unique service trip every March. This experience grants you the opportunity to serve the local community and participate in direct service, prayer, reflection, and justice. To learn more information or to sign up for this powerful experience, email campusministry@rivier.edu.
  • Volunteer at Your Local Soup Kitchen. Rivier serves at the Nashua Soup Kitchen on the third Wednesday of every month. Sign up by contacting the Campus Ministry office. Learn more about Nashua Soup Kitchen at http://www.nsks.org.
  • Visit the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. Join us as we visit the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary retirement residence for the holidays! Share your Christmas joy and lift spirits by participating in caroling.
  • Donate to the Annual Food Drive. Join the Rivier community in collecting more than 200 Thanksgiving meals during our annual food drive! The Thanksgiving Basket Project culminates with an interfaith prayer service on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
