Ed.D. Admissions Requirements

Doctor of Education candidates are admitted on a rolling basis with new terms starting in the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Rivier offers a streamlined admissions process: standardized test scores are not required and there is no application fee.

Submit applications materials to admissions@rivier.edu.

Applicants must:

  • Hold both a baccalaureate and a master’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Have obtained a GPA of 3.0 or higher in courses at the 500-level or above

Applicants are required to submit:

  • Official transcripts: Provide transcripts from all colleges or universities attended. A transcript is considered “official” if it is sent directly to Rivier from the institution where the credits were earned. Official transcripts can be sent electronically using transcript sending services or by mail.
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae documenting at least three years of work experience
