Career Fairs and Events
Making the leap from college life to your career track takes time, preparation, and opportunity.
From your first day at Rivier, our faculty, staff, and mentors will work with you to discern and develop your skills and to prepare you to make your best impression on prospective employers.
Once prepared, you need opportunities to investigate career options.
The Career Development Center (CDC) provides several opportunities for you to attend career fairs, both on- and off-campus. Check out the University events calendar for upcoming career fairs and events.
Career Development Events
The CDC, along with academic departments and partner employers, host a series of professional development and networking events throughout the year. You’ll have the opportunity to meet alumni in your field of study and participate in events like the Division of Business and Security Studies’ Pitch Contest, where students develop a business concept and pitch it to a panel of entrepreneurs and business leaders. (Think Shark Tank.) The winning team receives $20,000 in seed money and services to start their business. Plus, on-campus networking events help you to build your professional network ahead of graduation.
Rivier maintains an Employer Partner Network that connects students and alumni with internship and job opportunities. Listings for these positions are posted online and are available to you on RivierConnect.
