All students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form to be eligible for federal student aid such as federal grants, work-study funds, and loans.

It is my first time filing the FAFSA. How do I get started?
Create your FSA ID and password now if you haven’t already. Dependent students, remember your parent needs their own FSA ID too. If you link your FSA ID to your email or phone, it activates instantly. Otherwise, it may take up to three business days for verification by the Social Security Administration. Keep your FSA ID handy—you’ll need it every year you file the FAFSA!
What information do I need to complete the FAFSA?
- Verified account username and password (FSA ID)
- Parent or spouse contributor name, date of birth, Social Security number, and email address
