Global Engagement

What is the world? Who is my neighbor? At Rivier, the world is our classroom and our community, and every human being is our neighbor.

Our Office of Global Engagement transforms hearts and minds to serve the world by running academic, co-curricular, and campus-wide programs that help you better understand nations and cultures around the world, join intercultural partnerships, and travel to other countries through immersive experiences.

Our Values:

  • Understanding through thoughtful appreciation of global cultures by exploring international history, literature, art, politics, current events, and people
  • Partnering through working relationships with like-minded, global institutions that facilitate dynamic cultural exchange
  • Immersion activities that provide you with deep and persistent engagement in other cultural contexts
  • Transformation by connecting all aspects of your educational experience to create a global platform for personal, academic, and vocational reflection and change
