WRITING IN NURSING:
A STUDENT GUIDE |
|
This web site is designed to help students
of nursing at all academic levels cultivate sound writing
skills. The student should regard it as both a resource on
writing and a general guide to good writing practices. It
is our hope that this web site will grow and develop over
time. Occasionally, you will find pages that are “Under
Construction” to accommodate the addition of new resources.
      Within the pages of this
web site you will find an abbreviated APA
Writing Style Guide, sample student papers
and rubrics for selected courses, which identify the weighting
given to writing and APA formatting, and a lengthy resource
of very helpful and pragmatic writing
tips. There are also links to various additional resources,
including the web site of Rivier College’s College Wide
Writing
Program, the College’s Writing
Center and the Regina
Library.
      Because we wish this web
site to be both student friendly and student centered, we
encourage your critique and ideas. Please feel free to e-mail
your comments to either Kathleen
Patenaude or Ivor
Pattison . |
