  • Making a Difference For Ana Hebra Flaster, supporting Rivier comes naturally.

    A freelance writer, editor, and communications consultant, Ana is a member of the Board of Trustees and works to advance the University’s mission. She recalls starting to give back to her own alma mater as a first-generation college grad. “I gave small amounts at first and over the years, those amounts grew. Once I began giving, I gave every year. It felt like the right thing to do." Today, Ana and her husband proudly support the Rivier University Fund each year as well as capital initiatives, considering each donation an investment in the University’s proud future.

  • A Commitment to Generosity For Brad Kreick, making a difference is a family tradition.

    Holding the belief that education is everything, Brad Kreick and his family are making a difference in the lives of adult learners and in the future of Rivier. Their generosity inspired and launched the Kreick Family Scholarship and Kreick Family Scholars program, expanding access to a Rivier education for the University's hardworking and dedicated adult learner population. "The decision to support Rivier's ongoing commitment to adult learners was a very personal one for our family. My mom, Carol Kreick '79/'84G earned her degree as an adult learner at Rivier, and the benefit of that experience had a profound positive impact on our lives," says Brad. He shares that his parents always believed that "education is everything" and their actions in support of that belief shaped every aspect of his life. Now a member of the University's Board of Trustees, Brad is working to advance the University and shape the future for a diverse student population.

Evan is a nursing major pursuing his goal of becoming an ICU nurse. He wants to be a reassuring presence to his patients and their families in their time of greatest need. “Nursing is more than a job; it’s a calling. With so much uncertainty in the world today, being a nurse gives me a chance to really make a difference and ensure that every patient gets the care they deserve.” He was drawn to Rivier by the profound sense of community and value-driven approach to education. “I was looking for an environment where I could develop academically and personally. Rivier has been the perfect match for my ambitions.” Evan serves on the Student Government Association as the Class of 2026 Senator, tutors for Anatomy and Physiology, and serves as a Resident Assistant in Brassard Hall.
