Rivier University PSA supports respect for all people

Rivier University's CARE Program creates a PSA to raise awareness.

Rivier University’s CARE Program (Campus Awareness for Raiders to End Issues of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking) supports Rivier University’s mission of respect for all people by addressing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking through awareness, education, prevention, and trauma-informed services, as well as holding perpetrators accountable for their actions.

The CARE Program at Rivier was established through a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) grant. With additional DOJ grant support and in collaboration with the campus community, the following public service announcement (PSA) has been created to raise awareness of gender-based violence.

The PSA was screened on campus to Rivier students, staff, and faculty audiences at the beginning of the Fall 2022 semester. It has been shared with the greater Rivier community through social media posts. Ongoing access to the PSA is provided on the University’s website.
