Alumni on the Front Lines | Renee Roy

Alumna Renee Roy ’14 works as a Client Services Representative at All Pets Veterinary Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire, where new protocols have been implemented to keep pets safe and healthy.

“Pets have a special way of bringing us comfort during times of uncertainty,” alumna Renee Roy ’14 told us. “I am honored to work alongside a team of compassionate veterinarians, technicians, and support staff that have adapted to ensure the continued care for pets during this time.”

Renee graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and now works as a Client Services Representative at All Pets Veterinary Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire. She says the practice has completely restructured its system in order to continue providing optimal care for pets, while also ensuring the safety of individuals and team members. “We have developed ‘curbside’ care service where people can wait safely in their vehicles while their pets receive treatment. We also developed a drive-through pick-up window for pet parents that rely on refills of medication, food, and pet essentials.

All Pets has trained Renee and other staff members to triage pets and evaluate clients’ circumstances, such as if a pet parent has been ill, potentially exposed to the virus, or if a client is fearful to leave their home. For these cases, the practice is utilizing a new Telemed option where pet parents can download an app on their smartphone, tablet, or laptop and can host a virtual consultation with a veterinarian. “We are implementing safety measures daily for our hospital so we can continue to provide care to all pets, from the first hello to the last goodbye.”

Thank you for keeping our pets safe and healthy, Renee!
