Background

Erin MacIntyre, MSN, brings over 30 years of bedside nursing experience with a focus on critical care, trauma, and emergency nursing. Most recently, she practiced as a perioperative nurse in Boston and has several years of experience as a trained sexual assault nurse examiner, providing compassionate care to both pediatric and adult patients. She maintains current certifications in emergency nursing and trauma nursing core care for both pediatric and adult populations.

MacIntyre began her full-time career at Rivier University in 2021 in the Nursing and Health Professions Division, after serving as an adjunct professor since 2019. She had the honor of attending the 2023 AACN Faculty Leadership Network Conference in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, where she presented the poster, “But, it’s not a game. Realizing Truth Through an Unfolding Game.” Erin was also awarded a faculty research grant for her project, “Empowering Future Healers Through Innovative Video Pedagogy.”
