Rivier University Reaches out to Mount Ida College Students

In support of Mount Ida College students searching for transfer options, Rivier University is offering undergraduate and graduate scholarships and enrollment options to smooth the transition to a new program and encourage degree completion.

In support of Mount Ida College students searching for transfer options, Rivier University is offering undergraduate and graduate scholarships and enrollment options to smooth the transition to a new program and encourage degree completion. Mount Ida students are welcome to enroll now for the Summer and Fall 2018 semesters.

“For all Mount Ida students, Rivier University offers a pathway to graduation and success,” says Sister Paula Marie Buley, IHM, Rivier’s President. “There are academic and career advisors, and admissions counselors waiting to help you, as well as coaches with opportunities for you to compete on our GNAC Conference teams. There is a place for you at Rivier University.”

Special scholarships support has been established. In addition to customary financial aid assistance, the following one-time scholarships will be applied to Mount Ida transfer students’ ’18-’19 tuition: $3,000 for undergraduate students, $1,000 for graduate students.

Application and enrollment accommodations include:

  • – Guaranteed Admission for all students currently in good standing
  • – Generous Transfer of Credits: 90 credits for undergraduates and 9 credits for graduate students
  • – Additional Graduate Credits may be awarded based on individual reviews
  • – Personal Academic and Career Advising upon entry and throughout your enrollment
  • – Similar size campus with a caring University community
  • – Low tuition and housing costs
  • – Financial Aid Assistance and No Application Fee including the Common Application

Rivier will attend the College Fair planned for April 17 at the Mount Ida campus. Admission counselors will provide information on the University, advising assistance, and on-the-spot admission decisions.

Students interested in scheduling a personal campus visit, including Saturday Tour Days on April 21 and 28, can do so at rivier.edu/mtidastudents. On-the-spot admission decisions will be provided on campus. Students can apply to the University at rivier.edu/apply.
