Alumni on the Front Lines | Hollyann DeCarteret

We spoke with alumni Hollyann DeCarteret shortly after schools and businesses in New Hampshire began to close due to the coronavirus pandemic. Holly received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rivier and currently works as a maternity nurse at Elliot Hospital in Manchester.

Holly told us, “It’s an ever-evolving situation and we are all trying to roll with the punches. I am a nurse and I absolutely love what I do. It’s a scary and emotional time, but in healthcare, we all have each other’s back and we are helping to rally each other. We are a family. We smile with our eyes (because you can’t see our mouths) and continue to care with every bit of our hearts.” Thank you for staying positive and for the work you do every day, Holly!
