Dr. Forte will present on the value of the liberal arts in our modern world, and will begin by defining them, giving a brief history, and explaining their status in higher education today. He will argue that though they have always been prized by elites and invaluable for leadership and success, they are now incredibly important for responding to the challenges of artificial intelligence.
