Real People. Real Stories. Real Success.

Chelsey Hussey, RN, BSN ‘17

“I was able to get a job right out of school in the Elliot Hospital emergency room, and now I work at a Level I regional trauma center in Boston. I could not have picked a better place to pursue my undergraduate education.”

Irene Arévalo Jiménez, RN ‘17/’19

I attended the evening ASN program, and I loved working with other students who were from many different backgrounds. They brought such interesting perspectives and insights into our classes that I truly enjoyed attending lectures.

RIVIER UNIVERSITY NURSING ALUMNI HAVE A STORY TO TELL

We all have a story of the work it took to get us where we are today … and where we want to go tomorrow.

Graduates of Rivier’s nursing programs are prepared to become licensed registered nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse educators, and nurse leaders throughout the United States.

  • Students receive hands-on training in our simulated clinical and nursing skills laboratories, fully equipped with examining instruments, mannequins, ophthalmoscopes, IV pumps, advanced cardiac assessment modalities, and more.
  • Undergraduate students can choose from a two-year associate, four-year bachelor’s degree, or advanced placement for LPNs.

The hallmark of Rivier’s nursing programs is the faculty-supervised clinical experience in award-winning magnet hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout greater Boston and central New England.

As reported by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),

  • Our 2019 BSN class achieved a 98% first-time pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
  • In a survey in which nearly 95% of our nursing graduates responded, 100% reported receiving placement related to professional degree within 6-12 months after completing our program.
