Wellness is the objective of the ATOD Task Force. We encourage you to utilize the various resources on campus if you or another is having trouble and in need of assistance. The Rivier University Counseling and Wellness Center, Health Services, Public Safety, and Human Resources (staff and faculty) departments are here to help.
New Hampshire Higher Education Alcohol and Other Drug Committee (NHHEAOD): works to correct misperceptions about alcohol and drug use on college and university campuses.
New Hampshire Alcoholics Anonymous: meeting lists and hotline numbers available
NH Alanon/Alateen: for friends and family of alcoholics
Granite State Narcotics Anonymous: a program that focuses on addiction, the obsessive compulsive behavior, and recovery from it, not on any specific drug. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop using.
New Futures: a nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy organization working to reduce underage alcohol problems and increase access to treatment in New Hampshire through leadership and policy development.
