Student Updates in Response to COVID-19
The University looks forward to welcoming new and returning students to campus this fall for face-to-face instruction and a student residential experience.
To prepare for your return to campus, we have implemented a variety of health and safety protocols. Information will be shared on this page for all student populations and parents.
Return to Campus Plan for Students
This document details the policies and procedures that have been implemented as we prepare for the return of students to campus for the fall 2020 semester. The content in this document applies to all Undergraduate (residents and commuters), Professional Studies, Graduate, and Doctoral students. A separate document has been distributed to University employees.
Request for Temporary Alternate Class Arrangements
As the University supports students on the path to degree completion, we understand that COVID-19 may impact a student’s academic needs due to medical or other reasons. Students seeking temporary alternate class arrangements for the fall 2020 semester, such as remote learning or other accommodations, must submit the Request for Temporary Alternate Class Arrangements by Monday, August 10, 2020. Save the completed form as a PDF file and submit by e-mail to email@example.com.
Fall 2020 Housing Information (Updated August 3, 2020)
Rivier students will be welcomed back to campus housing for the fall 2020 semester. This document includes move-in instructions and residence hall information. Additional information, changes, and updates will be provided to students through Rivier e-mail accounts. This housing information is also detailed in the full Return to Campus Plan above.
COVID-19 has presented challenges to our living and learning environment that we can overcome if we work together as a community. We invite every member of the Rivier community to join together to make the Raider Pledge.
