The Campus Card Services is a system that provides the community with services for cashless transactions, meal plans and resident door access. The ID card is also a personal identification card and allows the card holder to take advantage of the following services on campus.
- Bookstore Purchases
- Library Café
- Library Copier
- Campus Printing Services
- Vending Machines
- Meals at Dion Dining Hall
- Flex Cash (Resident Students only)

Discretionary funds are deposits of your money to your ID card account, this will allow you to purchase products or pay for all available services except printing fees.
The Printing funds are strictly for printing fees, all fees are deducted from the account as printed. All student printing is monitored by a system that allows the student to accept the charges before printing.
IT Department Printing Allowance
The IT department allocates each student a $25 allowance per semester. When a student prints, a popup software “Lamess” will show a total balance of the allowance and any personal printing funds. The system is designed to use all the allowance funds first then use personal print funds.
*The IT printing allowance is not included in tuition and is subject to change as Rivier expands the ID card system.
**The Printing allowance will be reset every semester.

Acquiring an ID Card
Prior to the beginning of classes all new students must obtain a valid ID card. All cards are issued by the Department of Public Safety and Security Office, located at the Dion Center, main floor. An ID can be obtained from 9:00 A.M. to 7:30 P.M. from Monday to Thursday and 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Friday during the school year.
Lost or Stolen Cards
