NHCUC Libraries Borrowing Policies


Rivier University is a member of the New Hampshire College and University Council. Currently enrolled NHCUC students and faculty have limited borrowing privileges at Regina Library and the Cho Educational Resource Center. NHCUC institutions include:

Antioch University New England, Colby-Sawyer College, Community College System of NH, Franklin Pierce University, Hellenic American University, Keene State College, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences-Manchester, New England College, Plymouth State University, Saint Anselm College, Southern New Hampshire University, University of New Hampshire.

Borrowing Information for Rivier Students and Faculty:

  • Before visiting a NHCUC library, Rivier students and faculty are encouraged to call ahead to determine borrowing policies and hours of operation. Some libraries may not extend borrowing privileges.
  • NHCUC policies require that you present your validated, bar-coded Rivier University ID when borrowing material.
  • Loan and fine policies of the lending libraries apply. Overdue fines are paid directly to the lending library.
  • Books borrowed from the NHCUC consortium can be returned to Regina Library. Please plan ahead so your books are returned to the lending library on time.

Information for NHCUC Students and Faculty Borrowing from Rivier:

  • NHCUC policies require that you present your validated, bar-coded college ID when borrowing material.
  • NHCUC students and faculty may borrow up to 10 books from Rivier University libraries. Videos, tests and media borrowing are excluded.
  • Books circulate for 30 days with up to two renewals. Books that have a “HOLD” status may not be renewed.
  • The following services are not available to NHCUC borrowers: interlibrary loan, placing a hold on a book.
  • Overdue fines are the responsibility of the borrower.
