Rivier Supports Area Hospitals Working to Fight the Spread of COVID-19

It is our privilege to support our local hospitals as dedicated healthcare professionals work to fight the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

Recognizing the need hospitals and healthcare facilities are facing, Rivier donated personal protective equipment to several area hospitals. Hundreds of isolation gowns, N95 respirator masks, surgical masks, exam gloves, and more were distributed to St. Joseph Hospital, Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, and Lowell General Hospital. In addition, the University shared its telemedicine equipment with Concord Hospice so that they will be able to conduct remote assessments and services. The ability to provide telehealth visits will allow nurses and LNA’s to work together to provide care to hospice patients, decrease the number of healthcare workers going into homes, and limit potential virus exposure. It is our privilege to support our local hospitals and organizations as dedicated healthcare professionals work to fight the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
