Rivier Scholarships<\/h2>\n

Scholarship eligibility is based on academic merit. These funds are offered to qualified, full-time, undergraduate day students, who are enrolling at Rivier directly out of high school, with the exception of the Transfer Scholarship. (Full-time attendance is defined as 12 or more credits per semester.)<\/p>\n

All students are considered for the Founder\u2019s Merit, Catholic High School, Legacy and Transfer Scholarships when applying for full-time admission. All of the scholarships are to be received for a maximum of four consecutive years of full-time undergraduate study and continuing satisfactory academic progress. These are institutional awards that do not have to be repaid; however, if a student receives 100% funding or reimbursement for tuition, all Rivier funding may be rescinded.<\/p>\n

Founders Merit Scholarship<\/h3>\n

This renewable scholarship is awarded to incoming full-time freshmen who meet the institution\u2019s standards of academic strength and dedication. Scholarships are awarded up to $24,000 annually.<\/p>\n

Adams Achievement Scholarship<\/h3>\n

This is a one-time award of $2,000 to recipients of the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship in recognition of their academic distinction.<\/p>\n

Joanne and William Conway Nursing Scholarship<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Joanne and William Conway Nursing Scholarship was launched through a $2 million grant from the Bedford Falls Foundation to assist academically qualified students with unmet financial need enrolling in Rivier\u2019s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program<\/a>. Conway Scholars will receive $20,000 over four years of study, significantly lowering or eliminating out-of-pocket costs to earn their bachelor\u2019s degrees. Samuel A. Tamposi Sr. Scholarship<\/h3>\n

This scholarship is a competitive award paid over four years of full-time undergraduate study at Rivier University. This scholarship is awarded to incoming Rivier freshmen who have graduated from Nashua, New Hampshire area high schools and who demonstrate financial need, an exemplary work ethic, and determination to succeed. In recognition of Mr. Tamposi\u2019s alma mater, one of the recipients must be a graduate of Nashua (N.H.) High School. A separate scholarship application is required, and the submission deadline is March 24. Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA in order to continue receiving this scholarship. Project SEND Nursing Scholarship<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Project SEND<\/em>\u2014Seeking Excellence Through Nursing Diversity\u2014is awarded to eligible licensed practical nurses (LPNs) pursuing an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree. <\/span>Scholarship recipients receive full or partial tuition, fees, books, uniforms, an iPad, NCLEX-RN prep course, and a stethoscope. Transfer Scholarship<\/h3>\n

This scholarship is awarded to students transferring to a Rivier University undergraduate day program who have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement at another accredited college or university. Eligible students must have a GPA of 2.5 earned after a minimum of 12 credits at the same college or university and have not earned a prior bachelor\u2019s degree. Renewal is contingent upon remaining a full-time day student. Award amounts are based on a student\u2019s transfer GPA. Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA in order to continue receiving this scholarship. Scholarships range between $15,000 and $19,000.<\/p>\n

Governor\u2019s Scholarship<\/h3>\n

This scholarship is awarded to NH residents who meet certain criteria as determined by the State of New Hampshire. Not all eligible students will receive this scholarship as the funds are limited. Scholarships are awarded for all four years of a bachelor\u2019s degree program and students must maintain the required minimum GPA (2.5 GPA for $2,000\/year recipients and 2.0 GPA for $1,000\/year recipients). This scholarship is not transferable to another post-secondary institution.<\/p>\n

Rivier University Grant Program<\/h2>\n

The Rivier University Grant Program is awarded on the basis of financial need to a full-time day student. A grant award is not guaranteed from one year to the next. Students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA<\/a>) each year. Changes to a student\u2019s EFC may affect the amount of a Rivier University Grant offered in future years. For consideration, students must maintain full-time day enrollment and be maintaining satisfactory academic progress requirements.<\/p>\n

Catholic High School Grant<\/h3>\n

This grant is available for all Catholic high school graduates enrolled full-time right out of high school. Annual awards are $1,500 per year. Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA in order to continue receiving this grant.<\/p>\n

ONE (Outside of New England Grant)<\/h3>\n

This grant is available to first-time, first-year students enrolling from outside the six New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont).
