Data Entry Specialist
Rivier University seeks a full-time, non-exempt Data Entry Specialist to perform a variety of operational processes and data entry tasks for the Admissions Office. The candidate Must possess the ability and willingness to support the mission of the institution and the department in all daily activities.
The Data Entry specialist is required to perform a variety of complex data entry tasks. The successful candidate will enter data into the student information system from a variety of sources. Update, delete, and verify the accuracy of data. Clarify questionable or incomplete data on resource documents. The Data Entry Specialist will process Admissions documents, manually logging, and cross-referencing data entry work is required. Perform daily audit tasks as necessary to ensure adherence to data entry and processing standards. Work effectively, efficiently, and cooperatively as a member of the data entry team.
The candidate must possess an associate’s degree and two or more years’ experience, preferably in higher education or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are required. Data entry and clerical experience preferred. The candidate must possess strong typing, filing, spelling, and basic math skills.
