Assistant Professor of Political Science
Rivier University seeks a political scientist to join its vibrant academic community as a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member to begin in January 2020.
The candidate will be able to teach courses in U.S. government, international relations, globalization, and related subjects. The candidate will also teach courses as part of Journeys of Transformation, the University’s innovative core curriculum, including “Interactions: The West in the World.” The candidate will participate in programmatic and university-wide student learning outcomes assessments. The candidate will also have the opportunity to co-advise the Model United Nations delegation, supervise internships, promote experiential learning, and engage students in civic life on and off-campus.
The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in political science or government from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning. An active research agenda and experience teaching is desirable.
