Temporary Grant Position
This is a temporary, full-time, position funded by HRSA. This position is contingent upon continuous receipt of funds from HRSA. This position will begin January 2020 through June 30, 2022.
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has awarded Rivier University a four-year $2,037,011 nursing education grant.
Grant outcomes include enhanced education, increased access to community healthcare services, and improvements in patient outcomes. This federal grant is designed to expand primary care training for registered nurses. The new education program has been dubbed Project REEP—Registered Nurse Enhanced Education for Primary Care—and will include an enriched Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) curriculum, preceptor and faculty training, ongoing education, academic-practice partnerships, and a community advisory board.
This position will report directly to the Dean of Nursing & Health Professions and will support the Partnership Liaison for this project and will also work with the Director of Undergraduate Nursing Education.
Duties will include data collection and all other activities covered by the grant during the funding period.
- A.S. degree preferred or equivalent experience with two to three years as an administrative assistant
- Ability to provide administrative support for multiple individuals
- Knowledge of general office procedures and practices
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
