Description of Camp Wiyaka:
Located on Sandy Pond, Camp Wiyaka is a wonderful place for children ages 7 – 15 to spend a week (or two or five) exploring, discovering, and creating lasting friendships.  There are over 60 acres of woods and fields and a 23 acre lake.  Our 2014 staff season runs from late June to mid-August which includes a Staff Orientation week prior to camper’s arrival.   Our resident camp hosts about 50 campers per week, and our daily schedule allows the children to participate in traditional camp offerings such as swimming, boating, doing arts and crafts, archery, playing sports and games, learning about nature, and more.   Nightly sing-along campfires, family style meals, and platform tents have been a part of Camp Wiyaka tradition since 1921.  Please see our website at www.wiyaka.org for more information.
