Greater Lowell United FC is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Sales Intern. The Game Sales Intern is responsible for assisting the Director of Business Development in all aspects of sales and partnerships for Greater Lowell United FC. Sales interns will be paid on a 10% commission basis according to the product they sell.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
− Assist with Ticket Sales for Individuals and Groups (via telephone)
− Assist with Soliciting Season Ticket Holders
− Assist with Selling Sponsorships
− Assist with Selling Partnerships
− Assist with Merchandise Sales
− Assist with Maintaining Accurate Information on Potential Leads
− Following Up on Potential Leads in a Timely Manner
− Any additional duties as assigned.
Education/Work Experience, Special Skills/Knowledge Required
Applicants should be seeking a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in relevant fields of study which include but are not limited to: Sports Marketing, Sports Management, Sales, Business, Advertisement and Communications. Work experience can be substituted for degree requirement.
− Knowledge of/interest in sports and eagerness to learn (preferred)
− Excellent ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
− Excellent verbal and written skills
− Able to Prioritize Tasks
− Strong attention to detail and Time Management
− Must show initiative and resourcefulness
− I nterest in building a career in sales
