Alumni Reunion Weekend 2015 (September 25-27) 

All alumni are invited to this annual fall weekend celebration and special recognition will be given to alumni of Reunion Classes ending in 5’s and 0’s. Invitations were mailed to alumni of undergraduate Reunion Classes in June. View the full schedule below or download a schedule.

Alumni Reunion Weekend 2015

Friday, September 25
Friday evening events will take place at the Radisson Hotel in Nashua.

Reunion Class Dinner
Radisson Hotel, Cocktail Hour, 6 p.m.; Dinner, 7 p.m.
Celebrate with your classmates at the Reunion Class Dinner. After dinner continue the fun in the Shade Bar and Grill, located in the Radisson Hotel.

Saturday, September 26
All Saturday events will take place on the Rivier University campus.

Reunion Registration and Welcome Center
Dion Center Lobby, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Dion Dining Center, 9-10:30 a.m.
Start off the day with breakfast in Rivier’s Dining Center.

Reunion Welcome and Celebration of Heritage Plaza
Heritage Plaza, 11 a.m. - Noon
Sister Paula Marie Buley, IHM, President will welcome alumni and present the University’s newest Gateway Project—Heritage Plaza, complete with a bronze sculpture of Blessed Anne Marie Rivier.

Alumni Awards Luncheon
Dion Dining Center, 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Join us for a formal luncheon as we induct the Class of 1965 into the Golden Society and present the 2015 Sister Madeleine of Jesus Award, the highest honor bestowed on a Rivier alumna/alumnus by the Alumni Association, to Carol Kreick, Classes of 1979 and 1984G. Special recognition will be given to Alumni Reunion Class Representatives.

Campus Tours
Departing from the Dion Center at 3:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.
Enjoy a walking tour of campus as our student tour guides show you all of the new developments since your last visit, including several of the University’s Gateway Projects and the Learning Commons.

Reunion Class Photos
Dion Center Second Floor Student Lounge, 2:30-4:15 p.m.
Gather with your classmates for a class photo, a special keepsake commemorating your anniversary. Check the time for your class photo at the Welcome Center.

President’s Cocktail Reception and dedication of the Sharon McOsker Tamposi Alumni Legacy Garden
Sharon McOsker Tamposi Alumni Legacy Garden, 4:30-6:00 p.m.
Join us for a cocktail reception and dedication of the Tamposi Alumni Legacy Garden. We will recognize the transformation of the Sunken Garden made possible through the generous support of Sharon Tamposi (Classes of 1991 and 1995G). Enjoy cocktails, appetizers, and a jazz trio musical performance.

Rivier University Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Dinner

Dion Center Reception Room, 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Join us for the fourth induction ceremony of the Rivier University Athletics Hall of Fame, established to celebrate and perpetuate the legacy of the student-athletes (now alumni), coaches, teams, and supporters who helped bring recognition and distinction to Rivier. Enjoy dinner with coaches and athletic alumni while honoring the 2015 inductees, Bobbie Bagley ‘97/'14G, Jeff Carpenter ’08, Deborah Vander-Heyden Maloney ’85, Nicole Summers Walters ‘94/’02G, and the 2006 men’s volleyball team.

Dinner on the Patio

Dion Center Patio, 6:30-8 p.m.
Enjoy a casual outdoor dinner on the Dion Center patio. The Rivier Raider mascot will be our special dinner guest. Pose for a photo with the Raider and show your Rivier pride!

Dance the night away
Saturday Evening Entertainment
Dion Dining Center, 8:00-11:00 p.m.
Keep the fun going with your fellow alumni and our entertaining DJ! Dance the night away and enjoy coffee, appetizers, and a cash bar.

Sunday, September 27
Reunion Mass

Resurrection Chapel, 10 a.m.
Celebrate the Reunion Mass in the recently renovated Resurrection Chapel.

Champagne Breakfast with the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary
Madeleine Hall, 11 a.m.
Enjoy a full breakfast while catching up with the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, an annual Reunion Weekend tradition. This year, we will also celebrate the renovation and naming of the Perreault Room in Madeleine Hall, recognizing Sister Jeanne Perreault’s 50 years of devoted service to Rivier.

Monday, September 28
18th Annual Rivier University Golf Classic

Nashua Country Club, Noon shotgun start
Join us for a great day of golf and support the Raiders athletics program and health and fitness resources at Rivier. Register for a foursome or a single player spot. The tournament includes BBQ lunch, 18 holes of golf, dinner and
awards ceremony, raffle prizes, and more.
