Full course-by-course evaluations are required.<\/span>\u00a0<a href=\"#ITEA\">See the list below<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#EOEP\"><strong>Evidence of English Proficiency<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"EOEP\">Evidence of English Proficiency<\/h2>\n<p>Students whose native language is not English must provide evidence of proficiency in the English language.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Test scores are considered official only when they are sent directly to Rivier University or are electronically verifiable by Rivier University.<\/li>\n<li>Accepted tests and minimum required scores are: Duolingo (95), TOEFL (61 or 3.5\/6 on the new scoring model), IELTS (5.5), PTE (49).<\/li>\n<li>Some applicants may require higher test scores depending on their educational background and program of entry.<\/li>\n<li>Providing a language proficiency test score may not be required if you satisfy one or more of these conditions:\n<ul>\n<li>You have already earned a high school, college or university degree in the United States.<\/li>\n<li>You have successfully completed at least two years of full-time academic study in a diploma or degree-granting program in the United States.<\/li>\n<li>You are a citizen of an Anglophone country.<\/li>\n<li>You completed\u00a0English Language courses from a CEA accredited institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Required Items if Seeking an F-1 Visa<\/h2>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li>Copy of the applicant\u2019s current and valid visa\/passport.<\/li>\n<li>Current financial statement from a financially responsible party: applicant, a parent, or a sponsor.
