In support of the University’s Mission of Transforming Hearts and Minds to Serve the World, the Office of Human Resources aims to work with institutional effectiveness and financial stewardship when conducting University business. The Office, in partnership with the Rivier University community, contributes to the creation and maintenance of a robust working and learning environment and encourages commitment to the University’s values and goals.

The Office of Human Resources oversees:

  • BENEFITS AND WELLNESS- health, retirement planning, wellness programming, leave requests
  • BUSINESS LEADERSHIP- benchmarking, communication, legal and regulatory issues, planning
  • COMPENSATION-  payroll, deferred, executive, job evaluation, surveys
  • EMPLOYEE RELATIONS- conflict resolution, coaching, conduct, handbooks, investigations
  • ETHICS & SUSTAINABILITY- legal and regulatory issues, values, whistleblower policy
  • ORGANIZATIONAL & EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT- change management, assessments, process improvement
  • SAFETY- accident and injury reporting, ergonomics, risk management, workers’ compensation
  • STAFFING MANAGEMENT- orientation, recruiting, background investigations, job descriptions
