Academic Philosophy
“My nursing education philosophy is to help nursing students to become the best nurses they can be while providing competent and safe care to their patients and the community they serve. This includes having a mutual respect between faculty and students, fostering a safe learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions to facilitate their learning experience, and instilling in students a love for nursing. Each student comes in with different expectations and past experiences, and I believe faculty and students can and should try to learn from each other.”
