Rivier University has implemented an emergency notification system, powered by Everbridge (National Notification Network). The system allows the University to send emergency notification messages to all registered faculty, staff, and students during a crisis, emergency or weather closure. The registration process for the Everbridge system is quick and easy. Invitations will be sent to all unregistered faculty, staff, and students at the start of each semester, via your Rivier email account. For new employees, an invitation will be sent shortly after you begin employment. Adjunct faculty must request an invitation. The sender of the message is: Kurt Stimeling <email@example.com>
If you need to have your invitation resent, please contact Kurt Stimeling, Vice President for Student Affairs at firstname.lastname@example.org. Follow the instructions in the email invitation to register for the system. Review the information below for some helpful registration tips.
When you receive your invitation it should look like this:

This email is being sent from Rivier University by EVERBRIDGE, our emergency notification system. We use the system to send your emergency messages and to notify you of important items such as . . . you can sleep in because it’s a snow day!
However, yuo are receiving this message as you do not have a fully registered account with Everbridge. Please create and account in the Rivier University Member Portal.

Once you have created your account, you will need to supply at least two methods of contact. The first, your Rivier University email address, will be automatically populated. You will need to enter your mobile phone number and any other method of contact you wish.
