The Rivier College Writing and Resource Center provides professional, student-centered assistance and academic support as students work on writing tasks in courses across the curriculum. Writers come to the center for one-on-one conferences with a professional consultant to discuss assignments in progress and aspects of writing on which the writer wants to focus. These individualized conferences are available to all students on either a drop-in or reserved appointment basis.

The Writing and Resource Center also offers:

• one-credit weekly writing tutorials
• a course in Principles of Grammar
• specialized workshops based on student requests

The Writing and Resource Center holds extensive weekday (Monday-Friday) hours and limited evening availability throughout the fall and spring academic semesters. Specific hours are posted on campus and semester schedules are available at the Writing and Resource Center.
