HOURS OF OPERATION

Come to the Writing and Resource Center for help with writing assignments in any of your courses. Whether you are struggling to understand the assignment, find a topic, decide on a thesis, organize your ideas, find effective sources, cite sources in your paper, or deal with grammar issues, we can give you a hand! We also offer free peer tutoring services in math, nursing, history, critical thinking, chemistry & biology, Spanish, business, and religion.

Over the summer months, help for writers in Summer courses will be available on-line!  Send us an email at wrcenter@rivier.edu that outlines:

1. Assignment criteria (guidelines from professor, due dates, page length, citation method required, etc.)

2. Specific issues you would like the writing consultant to address 3. Any other questions you might have

Attach your writing in process as a Word (2003 compatible) document.  You do not need to have a full draft completed to use this service--feel free to send whatever you have, or specific sections you are struggling with.
