The Task Force on Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs addresses issues of substance use and abuse among Rivier students. Made up of students, faculty, staff, and community representatives, the task force provides education and encourages students to make low-risk choices.

MEET RIVIER'S RIPLEY

Created by design major Dan Morin '03, Rivier's Ripley appears around campus sharing data collected from Rivier students as part of a social norming campaign. Social norming theory focuses on the discrepancy between perceived and actual norms. By sharing actual data, the task force hopes to debunk myths that unhealthy behaviors are the norm.
