About the Library

Rivier University's original library was housed in Florence Hall and in 1958 Regina Library was built. Beginning in 2007, the library added a new addition and the original library was completely renovated. After slightly over a year of work and the efforts of many people, the new expanded Regina Library was opened in June 2008. Here are some of the highlights of what patrons can enjoy in the expanded and renovated Library:
- Addition of 11,700 square feet
- Double the amount of seating in the Library
- New and expanded Reference Room, Electronic Classroom and Quiet Study
- New Café with seating for 30 guests
- Three additional Group Studies for a total of five
- New large open spaces for group collaborative work
- Full-size elevator
- Large central skylight spanning the length of the building, from the entrance to the café
