15th Annual Golf Classic supports Rivier University athletic programs
Rivier University held its milestone 15th annual Rivier Golf Classic on Oct. 1, during Reunion Weekend 2012 – the first as a university!
The event was held for the first time this year at the exclusive Manchester Country Club in Bedford, N.H. The day included lunch, 18 holes of golf, and concluded with dinner and a raffle. The event also included a team of student golfers playing for the first time this year, as well as an alumni team.
The annual golf tournament benefits Rivier health and fitness programming, including the University’s 13 NCAA Division III athletic teams. The funds raised by the event enable the Raider athletic teams to remain competitive with other institutions.
