The following donor recognition societies recognize our supporters and pay tribute to those who have played significant roles in Rivier’s history. Membership is based on total giving during the University's fiscal year (July 1- June 30).
You can join any of the societies below by making an online gift or by contacting the Office of Development & Alumni Relations to make a gift.
Sr. Madeleine of Jesus Society
($5,000 and up)
Named for Rivier’s foundress and first president, this society includes the University’s most generous donors.
($2,500 to $4,999)
This society recognizes the University’s dedicated leaders over the last seven decades.
Sr. Sylvia Trottier Society
($1,000 to $2,499)
A presence at the University for more than 50 years, Sr. Sylvia served as professor, chair of the chemistry department, athletics director, house mother, and in countless other roles.
Sr. Joseph Landry Society
($500 to $999)
Sr. Joseph led Rivier’s education department for over 30 years. She taught at Rivier and the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing and had a powerful influence on education throughout the region.
Sr. Albina Marie Gazaille Society
($250 to $499)
This long-time library director was dedicated to providing Rivier students with the research materials they needed and resources to learn outside the classroom.
420 Main Street Society
($100 to $249)
Rivier’s campus holds countless memories for members of the University community.
Circle of Friends Society
This society honors donors who have made provisions for Rivier in their estate plans.
