Disable Spell Checking URLs/E-mail links

If you have many URLs and e-mail addresses in your document, the spell checker will flag each one as a possible error. This spell checking feature can be disabled.

Click Office Button / Word Options... (Word 2007)
or
Click File button / Options (Word 2010)

Select Proofing


Check Ignore Internet and file addresses
OK to lock in the changes
