Clean Out Your Temporary File Folders

The Temp Folder on your C:\Drive and Internet account folders serve as junk folders. Over time the size of the folders grows and gradually uses a large chunk of your computer memory.

The easiest way to cleanup folders is to Use the Disk Cleanup Wizard.

Click Start  / All Programs / Accessories
Select System Tools / Disk Cleanup
A pop-up screen calculates folder sizes
When calculations are complete the following window will open

Go to Disk Cleanup tab
Make sure you check off the following options:

Scroll down to select additional files

Calculations will give you that Total amount of disk space you gain
Click OK

A pop-up screen with message: Are you sure you want ... YES

Another pop-up screen with message: Cleaning up unnecessary files

If you run the program a second time, you will find a certain amount
of disk space remains in use. These are the files that manage your
personal account, open programs, and files you are using. The Wizard
will not delete these necessary files.

To keep your computer primed run this program every week, especially
if your computer is low on memory.
