Moving Desktop Icons

All of my icons are automatically grouped on the left-hand side of the desktop. There is no way to move any of them. How can I move the icons to other sections of the desktop.

Control where to place the desktop icons by changing the viewing options.

Right Click on your desktop

Click View
Remove the check mark in the Auto Arrange box

Close the dialog box.

Now drag and drop the icons to a new location on the desktop.
