Search Google for Foreign Language Sources

It is possible to search Google and retrieve specified documents/websites in a foreign language.

Open Google.com 

If you regularly search for foreign language sites make sure to configure your browser

Open Internet Explorer
Select Tools / Internet Options / Language button at the bottom of the pop-up screen
Click on Add / select Language(s) to search
Sample: French (Canada) French (France) … there are other areas for the French language
Same procedure goes for Spanish

Click Advanced Search

Type in the word(s) to search in the top section
Go to Language section / Click black arrow and select the language … notice the option for English only
It is also possible to limit the File Format (.doc, xl, ppt, pdf)
Limit the date
Also check Occurrences options
Click Google Search 

Learning to use the Advanced Search screen will cut down on your searching time and come up with better search results. You can also limit your searches to the English language.
