AutoComplete Internet Explorer includes a feature called AutoComplete that keeps track of information that is recently typed, such as Web site addresses, information in forms, and search queries. As you type new information, AutoComplete tries to anticipate what you are typing and offers possible matches. You save time because you don't have to type in the full information—just select AutoComplete's match and go! Like other features, AutoComplete is loved by some; hated by others. For that reason, the feature can be enabled or disabled according to your preference. Open Internet Explorer
If you are turning the forms feature off, click the Clear Forms button and that will remove any profile information you provided. Updated: May 21, 2008 Sr. Arlene Callahan
